The Problem

The company needed to identify fast-rising electronic artists for booking opportunities before competitors could sign them. Manual monitoring of streaming platforms and social media was slow and inconsistent - the team was missing emerging talent at the exact moment it mattered, losing out on booking deals to rival festivals with better intelligence.

The Solution

Built a Make.com workflow that pulls 3,000–5,000 artists weekly from the Soundcharts API. The system filters by electronic genre and platform criteria (Spotify: 2K–500K followers; Instagram: 2K–50K), excludes 80+ unwanted genres, and applies a weighted momentum score - Instagram 20%, TikTok 40%, Spotify 40% - with a bonus for Spotify editorial playlist placements. Only artists who debuted within 3 years qualify. The top 50 are output to Airtable with a weekly summary report.
